How it all started
In the summer of 2021, after parting ways with my employer, I faced a choice: go looking for another long-term contract, or finally do the thing I'd been quietly thinking about for years. I chose the latter.
I started SELFMADE to work differently — not as a vendor executing briefs, but as a genuine collaborator helping clients unlock their full potential. No middlemen, no inflated retainers, no work done on autopilot. Just focused, thoughtful effort on things that actually matter to the people we work with.
Since then, it's been a beautiful success story. We've grown through referrals, built relationships that have lasted years, and shipped work we're genuinely proud of. We're still a tight-knit team — and we plan to keep it that way.
